Tuesday night we had an engagement shoot with Maria and Ben. When we arrived at Brook Valley Country Club to take the photos the sky was looking awesome! Big puffy clouds (my favorite) with sunlight peaking through and a nice light cool breeze. Perfect weather for photos if you ask me. Unfortunately those puffy clouds were quickly followed by the mother of all clouds which decided to block the sun almost entirely and bring the ambient light temperature into an lovely “too cool for school” blue. We decided it was best to cut the shoot short and reschedule. Mother nature wasted no time in letting us know we made the correct decision by dropping buckets of rain on us as we were saying our goodbyes. We did however manage to grab a few nice shots before submitting to the weather. Here is a little sneak peak of Maria and Ben’s engagements (Part 1). Feel free to leave Maria and Ben some love in the comments section below!
We decided to take advantage of those nice storm clouds (Before they became not so nice).

Hurricane Irene left its mark on Brook Valley and I figured I would put these once giant trees to good use one more time.
TO BE CONTINUED!

Awesome photos…best wishes to you!! Lovejoy
